Our story
החנות שלנו נולדה מאהבה פשוטה לספרים.
לא מאסטרטגיה עסקית גדולה, אלא מקבוצה קטנה של אספני ספרים. אנשים שקוראים כל החיים, אוספים מהדורות מיוחדות, משוטטים בין חנויות יד שנייה ושוקי ספרים - ומאמינים שלספרים יש דרך מוזרה למצוא את האנשים הנכונים.
אחרי שנים של איסוף, החלפת המלצות ושיחות אינסופיות על ספרים, החלטנו לפתוח מקום קטן משלנו.
מקום שבו כל ספר על המדף נבחר באופן אישי.
הקטלוג של The Bookshelf מורכב ברובו מספרים יד שנייה במצב מצוין, שנבחרו בקפידה. אנחנו לא מחזיקים אלפי כותרים – אלא אוסף מצומצם יחסית של ספרים שאנחנו באמת אוהבים, חושבים ששווה לקרוא, ושמחים להעביר הלאה לקוראים הבאים.
החנות פועלת גם כחנות פיזית וגם כחנות מקוונת.
אפשר להזמין דרך האתר ולקבל את הספר עד לפתח הדלת.
ואפשר גם להגיע אלינו לחנות הקטנה ברחוב פלונית אלמונית בתל אביב, לשוטט בין המדפים, לבחור ספר, ולהתיישב לקרוא קצת.
החלל מעוצב בצורה חמימה ומזמינה, ויש אפילו בית קפה קטן צמוד - כך שאפשר להזמין כוס קפה, לשבת עם ספר טוב ולתת לעולם להאט לרגע.
אנחנו מאמינים שלספרים טובים מגיע יותר מחיי מדף קצרים.
